The Van Daan's got here a couple days ago. We thought they were going to be here a couple days from today but the germans were grabbing people left and right. They came rather sneakly so people wouldnt be suspicious. First Peter there eldest and only son came around breakfast time. He's rather shy and gawky. I can't expect much fun from him. Anyway he's just under sixteen. Mr. and Mrs. Van Daan came a half an hour later. To our great amusement Mrs. Van Daan had a huge pottie in her hat box! She said, " I don't feel at home without my chamber!" It was very funny! Mr.Vaan brought a tea table under his arm so we sit at that sometimes. Well theres no more news for now. I'll be back soon
